One week after the proposal, I went dress shopping at Bridal Elegance by Darlene in Albuquerque, NM. I was sure I would not be able find "the" dress on my first outing. The owner of the store showed me all of her dresses in a small binder and I chose the ones I liked. As I was trying them on, I realized that what I liked in photos did not always compliment my features the way I wanted or did not translate in photos well. So the owner, another consultant, and a Moonlight representative started choosing dresses for me! All the dresses they chose for me were beautiful, but none of them were "the" dress. I had one dress left to try one: a beautiful Moonlight dress. When I put it on, I knew it was "the" dress. It looked beautiful and I felt like a princess! I purchased it that day and never regretted it! When I went for my first fitting, I was happily surprised to see that it already fit like a glove! No alterations had to be made. I was so excited to wear my wedding dress that I kept teasing my soon-to-be husband that I couldn't wait to marry him because then I could wear my dress.
