David and I met on match.com. I knew he was special the moment he messaged me… probably because he had never tried online dating before and I was the first person he’d spoken with, he was so sweet and genuine. We met for coffee and talked for so long it turned into a dinner date. And after that we just started spending all our free time together, and building a life with our friends and family. In August 2018, David proposed at Disneyland which is my absolute favorite place! We’ve had amazing parents and friends help with our wedding planning – my dad even built our circular arch. We got married on May 18th at a ranch in Malibu. Everything was so perfect, and we have felt so much love from so many people! Dress shopping was a challenge for me. I went to 4 dress boutiques and tried on over 40 dresses before finding this one. Every dress I tried on had something I liked – the back design on this dress, the unfinished tulle edge on that dress, the silhouette on another. By the time I got to the final store, I gave my consultant a list of everything I’d loved from the dresses I’d tried so far, and she knew exactly what to show me. After putting this one on, I could not stop smiling and knew it was perfect.
