I actually got set up with Grady (my new husband) on a blind date. My sister and her good friend Morgan who is friends with Grady actually got us together. My sister told me on Dec. 23rd, 2017 about this cute attorney in Dublin, Ga that she wanted me to go out with. I brushed it off never having a good experience dating and never had a boyfriend at 25 so I was not very interested. Well long story short he messaged me after he got my number from his friend Morgan, we went on a nice dinner date and hit it off. We went on a date every night that weekend and he kissed me after four dates on New Years Eve. I was head over heels. One year later Dec. 23rd, 2018 from the day I found about Grady at that very same house. He popped the question. I said yes and 5 months later we got married! He is my very best friend and I am so glad the Lord blessed me with such an amazing man. How I knew my dress was the one? I actually own the bridal store Two Dames Bridal & More in Dublin, Ga that sells Moonlight and Val Stefani bridal gowns. We opened May 12, 2018. My dress was one of the very first gowns that came in from our initial order from Moonlight. I had loved that dress when I saw it before I ordered it for the store so I specifically ordered a size 12 just to see if I liked it enough. Keep in mind now I was not engaged and did not think I was close, but a girls gotta keep her options open right? So the sample dresses came in and I fell in love with the tea length gown, it fit me to a tee. I tried it on several times, but hated to get it before I was engaged. I had some customers try it on and I would get so jealous seeing them in it because I knew that was my dress. As soon as my husband popped the question I pulled it off the rack tried it back on and shed a few tears because I knew that was my dress. I have always loved tea length gowns and anything vintage. I wore a tea length prom dress so I knew I wanted to wear a tea length wedding dress. The three quarter length sleeves and lace only on the bodice made for a classic look I could accessorize.
