Real Brides: Jessie
My husband Alex and I met on Tinder 4 years ago. We met for our first date at a local restaurant. We were both going to different schools in Colorado but happened to match because he was in Boulder, CO doing some work. We talked for hours on that first date and I overshared way too much. After the first date, I thought I had blown it and there was no way he would call. The next day he did call and we started dating each other even though we were about an hour apart from each other. We've been together ever since and after I graduated and moved further away, Alex moved in with me. Alex asked me to marry him on May 11, 2019, at a local restaurant near red rocks in Colorado and I said Yes!
The bridal studio was Casa Bianca Bridal in Littleton Colorado, and I can not recommend them enough. I actually had a different dress picked out from another bridal studio, but I wanted to still go to one more place just in case. I had my mother, 2 sisters, and best friend with me. I had always imagined myself getting married wearing cowboy boots. I wanted a dress that could blend rustic and romantic. I also had always pictured myself in an A-line dress with lace details. I knew it was the one because when I put it on I felt like a bride and I felt confident, happy, and excited. My sister said, "You are glowing." Due to COVID we postponed our big wedding to next year but decided to host a small backyard wedding this year and I'm so obsessed with my dress I've decided to wear it for both celebrations!
