Real Brides: Hannah
I met my husband through mutual friends at a playoff football watching party (I was there for the appetizers, he was there for the football). We starting talking at a bar after the game, exchanged numbers and the rest was history.
How I knew my dress was "the one" was a longer story. I went dress shopping and found a beautiful dress I really liked but something wasn't perfect about it. So I went home and started googling to find the elements of the dress I loved and hoped I'd find what was missing. I found the T864 dress and it was everything I wanted - it had the neckline and wide waistband I loved with a touch of lace and a looser fitting skirt with the perfect train. It was everything I wanted... but the dress wasn't anywhere near my home in Cincinnati, OH. I traveled 1.5 hours to Holly's Unique Weddings and Gowns in Plain City, Ohio to try on this gown. It was worth the drive because it looked even better on than it was online!! This was the dress, I knew that but I wanted a thicker fabric with some sheen to fit my venue and October date. Holly suggested a Mikado fabric and that was that! We ordered the dress. The first time I truly felt like a bride was when I finally put on that dress, it had every element I wanted.
