Real Brides: Sarah
My husband and I had mutual friends since we were both late teenagers/early twenties. His twin brother worked for my dad’s building business and when I first met him I thought he was his brother.
Fast forward a few years and our large friend group all went to a music festival together in Australia called the Big Day Out and we both ended up losing the group. We spent the rest of the day listening some awesome bands, dancing and having a bit too much to drink.
I knew this was my dress the first time I saw it on Final Touch Bridal’s Instagram. I always had an idea of a lower plunge neckline and a fit and flare shape to suit my figure. The dress originally had off the shoulder sleeves which I had Kate’s Alterations remove and sew on some delicate spaghetti straps instead which elongated my height (I’m only 5’6). But more importantly I wanted to have no restriction for our reception so I can dance freely!
This gown was the one and only dress I tried on, I’m still so in love with it! It was perfect in every single way!
