Real Brides: Megan
Mike and I met online. He messaged me first and then I asked him out for drinks. Our first date was on a Monday in February 2019. We decided to grab a drink at a local pub. We were both nervous, the pub was practically empty, and you could tell the waitstaff was enjoying the spectacle of watching two people on a first date. We both drank a little too much for Monday's standards and hardly ate any of the food we ordered because we were both absorbed in each other. We stayed out until the bars closed.
Everything fell into place quickly after that date. Mike proposed on New Year's Eve that same year.
My Moonlight gown was the second dress I tried on in the store (and Savvy bride was the only bridal salon I went to!). I knew it was the one as soon as I walked out of the fitting room. It was simple, minimal, modern, and not too fussy. It was me.
The sample size the store had was my size AND the dress had just been unboxed that morning and put onto the rack. Had I been a day earlier I may not have found it. It was meant to be Moonlight!
