My husband David & I actually met online! We are one of those online success stories & pretty lucky to have found each other. I actually made the first move and sent him a message first. Few weeks later he asked me out and ever since our first date we've been inseparable. We endured a long-distance relationship for about 1 1/2 years at the beginning of our relationship, including a deployment, which only strengthened our love for each other.
I like getting things done early, especially when planning my wedding from another state. We live in Seattle, WA but our wedding was in Boerne, TX. So I planned my wedding dress appointments for March 2020 in TX for my March 2021 wedding. Without knowing, thankfully, it was right before all the COVID stuff happened. I took my mom and now mother in law with me and we went to Blush Bridal Lounge in Austin, TX. I tried on about 10 dresses & went in thinking. It wasn't until the last dress I tried on when I knew it was my dress. I was honestly speechless and couldn't stop smiling. It was so beautiful, fit me perfectly. I loved how it looked on me and when I saw it made my mom cry! I knew it was definitely the one. I felt beautiful and it made me even more excited for the big day. I looked at pictures of my dress every day after that.
