Real Brides: Krystan

This is from my husband Cory’s point of view, taken directly from our wedding website:
"Krystan and I met back in our freshman year of high school. She was wearing ripped black jeans with a black band tee. I can’t remember what I was wearing that day, but it probably wasn’t as cool. We remained acquaintances up until our junior year. At this time, we started seeing more of each other on campus and outside of school. We were in a few of the same classes, had a lot of the same friends, and hung out at the same places.
Our friendship flourished until I moved away to San Luis Obispo for school. We lightly kept in touch over facebook, sparking up a couple of conversations over the 4 years I was up there. While I was away, Krystan was busy at nursing school. She graduated in 2014 while I, close behind, graduated in 2016.
After I graduated, I came home with the intention to stay for a few months and then move on to a job in central California. Krystan was in the second year of her career. At about the same time my prospective job fell through, Krystan and I reconnected over facebook messenger. We exchanged phone numbers and decided to go out for a beer.
We started hanging out as friends at first, but it was apparent to me that we were hanging out way more than “just friends” and I decided that I liked her! She took a little longer to figure out that she liked me too but she eventually came around… and so one thing led to another and now we’re here!”
So I made a Pinterest the day after Cory proposed, and I was browsing around and came across a pin of Style H1394. I did some digging around and found out it was a dress from Moonlight Bridal and then I found nearby retailers. I was lucky because there were only 2 drivable stores near me that carried it (both about 1.5-2 hrs away). It’s almost like the minute I saw that dress I just knew it was what I wanted. I decided to go to Ferndales Bridal in Orange, CA to try it on. I think I tried on 4 other dresses before putting on Style H1394, and I just knew instantly it was the one for me.
