I met my husband at college in 2006, but did not date him at that point. We shared mutual friends in college, but were both in serious relationships at the time. We'd bump into each other at parties, and both thought one another was eye candy :) 10 years later, in the summer of 2017, we reconnected and got together at a mutual friend's house for a "hang out". We were the only two people who were not couples at that get together. My now husband was taking a new job out of state, and was moving to Maine the day after we went to that get together. He decided that his first weekend living in Maine, he wanted to come home to Massachusetts (where we're both originally from), and take me out on an official "date". His serious interest and efforts to see me so soon again, and his willingness to travel 5 hours, sealed the deal for me. So, for the first year of our long distance relationship, we were traveling back and forth on the weekends between Massachusetts and "Downeast" Maine to see one another. Distance certainly made the heart grow fonder, and stronger. A year later in 2018, we moved in together and became Maine residents.
I knew my dress was the one, when I tried on about 8 other dresses afterwards, and couldn't stop thinking about H1378. My bridal dress consultant kept asking me, where does this dress stand compared to the Moonlight Bridal one. Every answer was the same, "It doesn't compare!". When I tried on H1378 for the second time, I ended up crying as I felt so beautiful in it. I thought of how much my Dad would have loved to see me in this dress. My Father passed away unexpectedly in 2014, but being his only daughter, and the youngest, I was his baby girl. I felt his presence with me, as I said Yes to the Dress!

Dress: H1378
