My husband Zach and I met at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. 

I had gone dress shopping at another shop before and had pictures of my top two dresses. My bridal consultant at Alessandras in Warren, MI asked me to show her “the dress to beat”. I showed her pictures and she immediately said she knew which dress she was going to have me try on. My dress was the first one I tried on after that I immediately knew! I tried on several after that, but always came right back to that first one. Because of COVID, I could only have my mom with me at the shop. I have 4 older sisters so their opinion was so important to me as well. We FaceTimed with the dress on and I think they all knew as well. On FaceTime, I said yes to the dress! It was everything I wanted and more! Even my grandpa the day of our wedding said, “I’m not into dresses, but wow…I really love your dress!!”
