My husband and I started out as coworkers, turned into best friends, and eventually started dating. We had been together for about 3 years before he proposed. He took me to New York City and hired a professional photographer to set the whole thing up on a gorgeous rooftop, complete with flower petals, candles, and champagne.

My dress was the first thing I checked off my list (even before we had the date secured) and I was honestly so surprised that I found it so fast. I went to Dress Gallery in Wichita just to look and ended up finding EXACTLY what I was looking for at my first appointment! I knew it was the one for me as soon as I had it on. It had everything I was looking for- the A-line shape, and the detailed beadwork on the bodice. The minute I had it on and secured, I felt so overwhelmed with emotion and couldn’t help but cry happy tears. My mom cried, my stepmom cried, it was awesome. I was able to add beaded spaghetti straps to the neckline and it was exactly what I wanted.
