Real Brides: Marina

Payne and I met on Bumble 4 years ago and it was an instant connection for both of us. We had a lot of mutual acquaintances but there were a few degrees of separation and we likely would never have met without the app. 

Crazy story about finding this dress. My mom sent me a picture of this dress a year before we got engaged and I immediately knew it was the one. Mothers really do know best! I generally know what looks good on me from trial and error over the years. This dress checked all my boxes. I wanted full sparkle, I wanted a tasteful amount of cleavage and skin showing, I wanted flowy and a-line so that I was comfortable and could move, and it absolutely had to have straps! This dress was all of that! I tried on a few other dresses first to make sure, but when I put this dress on I knew. The only thing I added to the dress was a belt they had in store at Whittington Bridal because I felt like it needed something to break up the top and bottom a little bit. This dress was a dream come true, no one could believe how sparkly it was! The venue coordinator saw me and said when the sun hit me I glowed like an angel! I was going for fairy princess so I was so happy!!!
