Real Brides: Alexis

My husband and I met as roommates! I'm born and raised in California, and I was renting a room in a 3 bedroom house on the beach in Newport Beach. My husband had just moved to California from Charleston, South Carolina to start a new job right after college. I was still in college, and away on a break. The other roommate met my husband, and rented a room out to him. By the time I came home, he was already living in my house and sharing a bathroom with me. We became best friends immediately, but waited a year to start dating!

I found my dress in the second store I went in (Mon Amie Bridal in Costa Mesa). I knew I wanted sleeves and ornate lace. The second I put on my Moonlight Bridal dress I knew it was perfect. I felt beyond beautiful. The dress flattered my curves and looked like something out of one of my fantasy books. I did not try on any other dresses after this one and purchased it immediately. Something I did not expect that made all my friends jealous was the beautiful sketch of my dress that Moonlight Bridal sent with it, which I have gotten framed. Thank you so much!
