Real Brides: Massiel
I met my husband 11 years ago, from a mutual friend, we were just friends for a year before we started dating and been together for 10 years now. He is truly my best friend, and the funniest person to be around. We didn't get married before because I was going through medical school to become a physician. It took 8 years, but I graduated last month on May 8th from medical school and the wedding was two weeks later, so it was double the celebration!
Funny thing is that I found the gown online. I saw the online picture and loved it. It was everything I was looking for: it had sparkles, layers of tulle, princess style with a sweetheart neckline. The closest retailer to me was 4 hours away, I drove down there and it was my first gown to try on. It was my first bridal appointment to try on dresses too. I tried on a few more just to say I did and got this one back on and I knew it was the one. It had everything I imagine for my wedding dress, immediately bought it, went home and the more I looked at the pictures from the appointment the more and more I loved it. The dress has so many beautiful details, the bodice is beautiful with the right amount of sparkle and it's a corset style so it gives the right form to your body. The layers of tulle are flowy and light with a hint of sparkles, felt just like a princess.
