My husband and I met at a football game in college (my junior year, his senior year). His freshman year roommate was dating my freshman year roommate and they both brought us. He bought me a beer and chatted about engineering because we were both getting a civil engineering degree. I had actually known who he was before I met him because we were both in the same engineering club but he didn’t know me. We ended up going out with our friends that night, kind of an impromptu double date and he asked me out a few days later.  

When searching for a gown I’ve always loved pockets in dresses, my mom has a picture of me when I first discovered pockets in my clothing…I had so much joy. This dress had pockets! It felt elegant and classic which is what I wanted. I customized the top to create the gown I had envisioned and saved on Pinterest. I also loved the button details without having to actually button them!!
