Real Brides: Julia

My husband and I actually met on Bumble while I was visiting my parents. We decided to pursue a long distance relationship for a year and a half, traveling four hours back and forth to see each other. 

In April of 2020 (right as the pandemic hit) I moved to Greenville, SC to be with him. We got engaged in April of 2021 and I actually got my dress in July of 2021 even though we weren't getting married until July of 2022. I loved how I felt in the dress but initially was unsure about something so form fitting, but as soon as we started to "complete the look" I started crying and knew it was my dress. ( Little did I know I would get pregnant before the wedding) but I still felt amazing in my dress. In a whole year I didn't changed my mind and I think I loved it more on my wedding day than I did when I first tried it on.
