Real Brides: Natika

Danny and I initially met online before bumping into each other on a night out. Conversations, an over use of emojis and a crazy golf defeat later we knew we were meant to be together. Fast forward a year, and I was woken up by Danny. He told me not to panic, but to get my passport and pack a bag - safe to say I absolutely panicked. I had no clue at all that we would later on that day be in Venice, Italy. On a gondola, in the most beautiful city in the world Danny proposed, it couldn't have been more perfect. 

When it came to my wedding dress I had an idea of what I wanted. I searched online and found Rachel Ash Bridal Boutique. I looked through the dresses and designers the boutique stocked, quickly I realized I was gravitating to one particular designer, and when I saw the name I just felt like it was meant to be. Moonlight - this is what our daughters name translates to. When I went for my appointment at Rachel Ash, Aimee (the owner) was simply amazing. She listened to what I wanted and immediately suggested a dress for me from the moonlight collection. After trying on several dresses that I had picked out myself first, I put on the dress Aimee had recommended. The lace, the fit and the shape were exactly what I had dreamt of. And when it came to the train - Wow, just Wow - The train was something else! All of the detail and all of the drama! The lace upon lace effect of the dress was something I had never seen before, the detail was just stunning. As soon as I put on the dress I felt like everything had came together. I had fallen completely in love and my mom, who had came with me, knew it was the one too. Despite all of this, I was surprised; surely I couldn't have found my dream dress so quickly?! I visited another boutique, but every time I put on a different dress I felt like I was cheating on my Moonlight Bridal dress. It was the one and I can't thank Aimee at Rachel Ash Bridal enough for finding it for me. 

I've been lucky enough to be able to wear my gorgeous dress twice. Once for our main wedding in England, and once for a special wedding reception with my Turkish family, who weren't able to travel to England to join us.
