Real Brides: Gianna
We met in Warwick at Trudeau a place we both worked at that time, we passed one another hundreds of times. I thought his name was Carlos (we still laugh till this day about it) one snow storm at work we were grouped together in a room I attempted to talk to him, he would not make eye contact with me and not many words he could make out either. But little did we know we would be husband and wife in a few years. Fast forward we were grouped together a lot more, a couple weeks went by and I found myself excited to see if he was with me for the day. We became work friends, and then friends outside of work with a group of friends we would all hang out (if you know Jay and I, you will know we are home bodies so this is saying a lot) BUT each other’s company was far worth it all and far more than we even knew at the time. They say marry your best friend well we are doing just that. We became best of friends and fell in love. It’s so pretty to think this whole time there was an invisible string tying us together. 5 years later and we are still with butterflies over one another, laughing, joking, loving, exploring and experiencing life together. And building our family and life from the ground up.
When finding my dream dress, with the amazing ThistleRose Bridal the experience with all my closest loved ones was unforgettable. I had a handful of dresses to try on, I started with the first one that just caught my eye from the very beginning. I remember stepping up on the staging looking up and feeling this overwhelming feeling of pure happiness, all the happy tears and emotions ran from me all my girls knew it was “the one”. I knew it was “the one”. I just could not believe it was the first dress I put on. I then gave some other dresses a chance to give me that same feeling, and nothing compared to the first wedding dress, I put the first dress back on and knew the search has been over from the very first one.
