Real Brides: Ashley

We swiped right on Bumble, we talked for a long time on the app, before I finally asked if we were going to go on a date or just be pen pals. We went on our first date in October of 2018, which lasted 6 hours! From there on, the rest was history and we have been inseparable since. When dating we realized that our friends had dated one another previously, and that we crossed paths when we were younger, I lived next door to one of his family members when growing up.

I actually bought my dress before I was engaged. I knew he was going to propose and there happened to be a sample sale at the local bridal shop around the corner from my house (Mon Amie Bridal Salon). My best friend came with me and I had one hour to try on dresses. I tried on about 12 dresses, and someone happened to say no to this. My best friend suggested I try it on and it fit perfectly. It was exactly what I wanted. I always wanted some type of lace dress and this dress was perfect for a destination wedding in Hawaii. I was so happy that I found the one in under 1 hour and I give her all the credit for helping me find "the one".
