Real Brides: Jade

My husband and I met when we had the same college class together. I was the shy girl that would sit in the back of the class, and he was one of the "cool athletes"-- I always thought he was cute and funny, but never had the courage to say anything. Once the class ended, we reconnected on social media and he had messaged me saying "I never thought a girl as beautiful as you would be single". He proceeded to ask me on a date, which happened to be the best date of my entire life. One date led to many, many more-- and I am so glad I am now able to go on dates with him for the rest of my life. 

I was doing research on local bridal boutiques and dress designers in Charlotte, NC when I came across the Moonlight Bridal Collection which happened to be having a trunk show at The Savvy Bride Boutique. I was immediately in awe of all the beautiful gowns Moonlight Bridal had to offer. As I was going through the different gown options I knew that I needed to set an appointment with Savvy Bride and try them on. I had tried on a few different options from the line and while they were beautiful, it didn't give me that "AHA moment"-- I finally was putting this gown on in the fitting room, and when I turned to face myself in the mirror as the stylist was fastening the top clasp I immediately gasped and felt tears form in my eyes. Once I stepped out of the room everybody went silent, in awe of the beauty that was this dress, and tears streaming down all of their faces. I knew. I had never felt more beautiful than I did in that moment, I knew it was mine.
