Real Brides: Kayleigh

Marshall, local to Golden Colorado has created deep roots in the area. While Kayleigh moved here in 2007 a week before High School began but will never be able to consider herself native to Colorado, it’s a thing. Two hearts who were not looking for a serious relationship met in July of 2018. A semi casual first date, where Marshall wanted to meet up for drinks at Red Rocks Beer Garden. They knew it was fate when they showed up wearing the same shade of green shirts. Drinks quickly turned into dinner, then to several rounds of golf, hikes, puppies...and more puppies, and hunting. Where Marshall passed on a trophy bull to let Kayleigh have bragging rights forever. 

Throughout their somewhat short nearly five-years together, they have made sure to fill their lives with adventure, travel, annual trip abroad, entrepreneurial dreams, and house projects. While 2020 threw us some good curve balls we made it through some of the toughest life experiences thus far and know that we want to support each other till death do us apart. On November 27th, 2021, Kayleigh and Marshall were Christmas tree hunting with their families. While hiking through the forest everyone was eager to find the perfect tree. Kayleigh was not a fan of any of the trees and really took the family along for the trek. Until they found the perfect tree! Where Marshall dropped on one knee and proposed to Kayleigh. This sentimental moment was cherished with both their families at Marshall’s family cabin in Fairplay Colorado (their happy place). They look forward to adding more chapters to their story for the years to come.
