Real Brides: Stephanie

I met Dan over 4 years ago at the gym of all places! We were both newly divorced and single parents and we connected right away. We are a blended family and that made it fun! He proposed at The Speckled Hen Inn in Wisconsin (it's the cutest bed and breakfast and sheep farm). 

I went dress shopping right away! I went to The Bridal Boys in Dundee, IL and tried on several dresses. I knew that was the one as soon as I put it on. The quality of the fabric, the style, the way it immediately fit. I was sold! The owner David was an absolute joy to work with too! 

We recently moved to Cape Coral, FL and started looking for places to get married out here on the beach. I knew it had to be in the colder months here because the dress was long sleeves and I loved that about it! We booked Tween Waters on Captiva Island... then hurricane Ian hit!!!! We were nervous about what was to come, but thankfully the resort was fully operating only 2 weeks before our big day! The day of the wedding was absolutely magical. Everyone at the resort raved about the dress and how amazing our friends and family were. It was such an awesome day. Every bride says that, but our wedding was redemption for the both of us!
