Real Brides: Anna

While Michael and Anna have been together for 7 years, they have been friends for 13. Michael and Anna met when they were in grade 8 through the army cadet program. Anna just moved to Saskatoon from Flin Flon Manitoba. They immediately hit it off and became best friends. The following year both Michael and Anna quit the cadet program and went their separate ways. However, only 1 year later, Anna tracked Michael down at Holy Cross High School and transferred there. They continued their friendship throughout their high school years. 

Finally, in 2016 Michael convinced Anna to break up with her then 3-year boyfriend and give them a shot, but we all know Duke played a big part in the convincing. After 5 long years, Michael finally asked Anna to marry him, but he made her work for it. She had to climb to the top of a mountain to get the ring. Since then, they have been planning for this day and for their forever. 

I always had envisioned a Disney princess gown for my wedding. The moment we got engaged I started looking. I looked at so many stores and tried on so many gowns. I just couldn’t decide none of the dresses I tried on felt like the one. Finally after looking through Moonlight's website, without even trying it on, I felt a connection to this dress. I contacted them via Instagram to find places that carried this dress. My husband and I ended up driving to Medicine Hat Alberta to Magic Moments and I ordered the dress through them with only pictures to go off. When it came in, we drove back to pick it up and it really exceeded my imagination it truly was the perfect princess gown.
