Real Brides: Bailey

My husband (Kevin) and I are high school sweethearts. We meet at a track meet when we were 14 when he asked for my number through a mutual friend. We have been together and grown together ever since.

When I was looking I found a designer that specializes in dresses that used color to accent the floral designs. I loved those and if I could find something similar I wanted to try it. When I tried on my dress at Casa Bianca the silhouette was exactly what I wanted, and the black made the details of the dress stand out. I felt gorgeous. I did worry for a moment about choosing a partially black dress, but when I tried it on for the second time I decided it was perfect, and I didn’t need to be worried about fully following tradition. It also helped that my husband told me if I found a black dress I should try it on.
