I think our story is the classic small town boy meets big city girl. I grew up near Denver thinking that's where I would be for the rest of my life. Well COVID had other plans for me, and I ended up moving to a tiny town in the middle of Montana for a new job. About 1 month after I moved, my folks came up to celebrate my birthday with me since I didn't have many friends at the time. We went out to dinner at the local sports bar and that's where Ernie and I saw each other for the first time. I remember thinking that I was thrilled to see that there was actually a cute guy in this small town! But my plan was to not spend more than 2 years here and then move onto the next big thing, so I didn't pursue anything. Well unbeknownst to me, that cute guy asked around who the new girl in town was. He got my name, found me on social media, and slid into my DMs. I brought it up to one of my friends, Stacy, and she insisted that I come to the bowling alley the next night to meet him. So, I showed up at the bowling alley the next night, I watched for a bit as Ernie bowled and then we got to chatting over a couple beers, he asked me on a date, and the rest is history!
It was my first time shopping for dresses so I didn't really know what I wanted. All I knew was that I wanted something simple. Silhouette Bridal Studio's owner, Melissa, was helping me pick out dresses to try on. She pulled one that she said looks very elegant when it is on. I actually did not like the looks of it on the hanger, so I was reluctant, but like I said I didn't really know what I wanted so who was I to say no? When I put the dress on, it immediately hugged me in all the right places! I thought that the neckline suited me very well with my broad shoulders, I thought my booty looked great, and I loved loved loved the buttons on the back of the dress. I tried on a couple other dresses, just to make sure, but ultimately wanted to get back in that dress. It was the first time in a while that I felt beautiful and sexy and more than anything, I felt confident. So, I of course loved the way I looked and felt, but I also knew that Ernie would love it as well. I knew that he would think that I would look elegant, and beautiful, and sexy all at the same time. At the end of the day, I couldn't be happier with my dress! Although, I don't think that I got that tingling feeling that you hear about or see on TV, but it just simply made me feel confident, and that is all I cared about.
