Real Brides: Jacklyn

While applying for jobs with police departments after graduating from the academy in 2016, Ed was hired as a bartender at Duffer’s Mill in Chichester, where Jacklyn was also working at the time. The two shared only one shift together before Jacklyn left to work at Bates Motel as an actor and makeup artist, among other jobs. Fate intervened, and Jacklyn returned to Duffer’s in the summer of 2017, where the two soon fell for each other.

They say opposites attract, and this couldn’t be truer for Ed and Jacklyn: a night owl and a morning bird, a metalhead and a pop star, a police officer and a medical marijuana dispensary employee. However different they may seem, love has rarely found such a perfect match.

Jacklyn took her mom and dad dress shopping with her at Blush Bridal, and she had the sweetest experience there. Everyone at the store was so kind and genuinely excited for the brides trying on dresses. She first tried on the dress in the floral design—it was so comfortable, and the pockets were an added bonus! She was thrilled when she found out it also came in Ivory. The second she put on the white version, she was sold!
