My husband, Jensen, and I first met at Penn State in our research lab when he was a senior with long hair, and I was an eager sophomore. Fast forward two years, and I’m now a senior while Jensen has returned to Penn State as a lab manager and teaching assistant. Rumor has it that Jensen was the TA for one of my classes! We reconnected and began spending time together bowling and playing VR. Our first date was at an Outback Steakhouse because it was within walking distance during a snowstorm.
I had photos saved on Pinterest of my dream dress years before I was even engaged. When it finally came time to find a dress, I started searching for styles that matched my vision, and Moonlight was one of them! I then looked for shops nearby that carried these styles, and Blush Bridal was my first stop.
Our group met there and left our cars, so at the end of the day, as we were heading back to pick them up, I thought, If only I could try on that dress again. Blush Bridal graciously let me in just five minutes before closing to try it on one more time.
The moment they clipped it in the front, allowing the back to truly shine, I knew it was the one. A month later, when my sister was in town, I returned to purchase the dress! I was so thrilled to find my dream dress and make my longtime vision a reality.
