Real Brides: Jezelle
My husband and I met online during Covid, so it’s not the most exciting story, haha! But we managed to keep talking without getting bored. When the borders opened (I’m Canadian), I met him in person a whole year later, and the rest is history! I was supposed to move to Qatar for a new job, but I took a leap of faith and flew to DC to spend more time with him. We got engaged—it just felt like home, and I couldn’t imagine my life in Qatar anymore. All I wanted was to stay here with him. Lucky for me, it was his idea too, and everything fell into place so beautifully.
I did a lot of dress shopping, and I always thought I wanted something fitted—more sheath, more boho. Then I saw this dress on Instagram, and my jaw dropped. In 2023, I started calling bridal boutiques that carry this dress from Moonlight Bridal, but they kept telling me they didn’t have it because it was a 2024 release. Finally, one boutique said they could request it for a fitting, and I was so grateful.
When I tried it on, I knew it was absolutely perfect in every way. I loved the flow, the slit—it was beautiful, sexy, and absolutely gorgeous. The beadwork alone is stunning, and the lining felt like silk against my legs. It’s so well made, and I’m so grateful I found it.
